First round of North East Link information sessions wraps up

Back to Newsfeed

The first round of North East Link drop-in information sessions wrapped up on Wednesday 14 September.

Over 2,200 people came to 12 sessions held in communities across the project area throughout August and September 2017.

The informal drop-in sessions helped us to get a deeper understanding of what communities want North East Link to achieve and get feedback on our work on the project so far.

Our technical teams were on hand to share information and answer questions.

The feedback we received will help us keep investigating how the four corridor options perform and narrow down to one preferred corridor by the end of the year.

Community information sessions were held in Ringwood, Ivanhoe, Eltham, Rosanna, Bulleen, Melbourne CBD, Warrandyte, Greensborough, Lilydale, Balwyn North and Wantirna South.

There are still opportunities to join the conversation

For those who couldn’t make it to one of the 12 events held in August and September, North East Link’s Join the conversation website will stay open for feedback until Monday 18 September 2017.
