2021 Civil Construction Cadetships in Surveillance

Civil Construction Cadetships in Surveillance is a two-year paid work and study placement within the Victorian government’s Major Transport Infrastructure Authority (MTIA).

Cadets will undertake a Certificate III in Civil Construction while gaining on-the-job experience on real civil construction projects. The Cadetship is suitable for anyone, from school leavers to career changers. You don’t need any prior construction experience to apply.

About Surveillance

Surveillance staff play a critical role in delivering infrastructure projects. They assess the quality of construction activities to ensure it meets project scope and standards. This includes relocating and protecting underground utility services, earthworks, drainage, asphalting and road surfacing, traffic management, traffic signals and bridgeworks.

A key part of all Surveillance roles is the ability to listen, work in a team, communicate effectively and enable others to understand and develop innovative solutions.
