More than 10,000 jobs and millions of dollars of contracts will be up for grabs, as part of the $15.8 billion project that will carry up to 135,000 vehicles daily, slash travel times by up to 35 minutes and deliver the missing link in Melbourne’s freeway network.

North East Link has Commonwealth environmental approval to go ahead
The Federal Minister for the Environment has given North East Link environmental approval to go ahead under the Australian Government’s Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act).
