The Minister for Planning has declared the works proposed by the North East Link Authority to be Public Works for the purposes of the Environment Effects Act 1978, requiring the North East Link Authority to produce an Environment Effects Statement (EES).

The missing link in Melbourne’s road network is one step closer, with the Andrews Labor Government today unveiling the four potential corridor options for the North East Link.
